This policy explains what UpfrontPoker ("we", "us") collects through upfrontpoker.com and, once it launches, the UpfrontPoker app, and how we use it.

What we collect now

• Email address: when you join the early-access list.
• Basic usage data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site running.

What the app will collect

• Account details: your email address and settings.
• Hands and training activity: hands you play or submit for review, your questions to the coach, and the coaching we generate.

How we use it

• To email you when your early-access seat opens, and later about your account. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To coach your hands and produce reviews and drills.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

Coaching is generated with Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic. When you use the coach, your hands and questions are sent to Anthropic's API to produce the coaching. Anthropic processes API data under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models by default.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run UpfrontPoker, including hosting (Vercel) and AI processing (Anthropic). They process data only on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

We keep your early-access email until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe. App data is kept while your account is active. Email hello@upfrontpoker.com to request a copy of your data or to have it deleted.

Age

UpfrontPoker is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
